Jacqueline Hughes was born on the 6th February 1958. She was an amazing person who is sadly missed every day. My mum was my best friend and we spent a lot of time together. She was the kindest and most generous person that I know. She loved to laugh and made the most of every day that she had. Her passing has left a big hole in my life and I miss the laughter that she used to bring. She fought cancer for a long time but never complained. I watched her fight her illness with strength and courage; always with a smile on her face, even in the darkest days. She desperately wanted to see my brother get married but tragically died two weeks before his wedding. Life can be very cruel sometimes but we know she was there in spirit. Mum, you are sadly missed but we will never forget you and the joy that you brought to all our lives. You were an inspiration to us all and the memories will live on forever.
